Select a cell, enter a number, and use Check when you want feedback. Your entries are saved on this browser when storage is available. Before completion, Reset clears your attempt after confirmation. - Start with the row or box that has the fewest gaps.
- Check both the row and column before placing a number.
- When stuck, search for a digit that has only one possible position in a box.
Frequently asked questions
When does the daily Sudoku change?
A new puzzle starts at midnight UTC. All players receive the same board for that UTC date. An open round stays available until you choose Load today or reload.
What does Check do?
Check compares your filled cells with the solution and highlights incorrect entries. Your result includes how many checks you used.
Does Reset give me a different board?
No. Before completion, confirming Reset clears today’s entries, notes, and counters. A completed daily result is locked. Reloading restores saved progress when storage is available.
Is each daily puzzle solvable without guessing?
Yes. A clue is removed only when the remaining puzzle can still be solved with single-candidate deductions. This also ensures a unique solution.
